The Main Event of the APT Jeju 2026 festival is reaching its climax at South Korea's LES A Casino, with a buy-in of KRW 2,700,000 (~$2,000). A field of 1,375 entries has created a massive prize pool of KRW 3,207,600,000 (~$2.39 million).
The final showdown today will feature the last 8 finalists, with the overall winner set to claim, in addition to the iconic Golden Lion trophy and a ticket to the APT Championship, a first prize of KRW 556,340,000 (~$415,000).
Leading the final table is China's Jianfeng Sun, who has twice come close to glory, finishing as runner-up in the APT Jeju 2024 Main Event and also in the recent Mystery Bounty. Today, he's determined to break his streak of near-misses.
Following Sun are Singapore's Steve Ng and WSOP bracelet holder Toby Joyce from Ireland, the most experienced player among the final eight. Completing the final lineup are Kwang Chung Tan, Weimin Chen, Jiawei Wan, as well as past edition finalists Shuang Qiu and Erdun Xu.
