The inaugural WSOP Super Circuit Canada Main Event with a 5,000 CAD buy-in has shattered all previous records. Thanks to a massive turnout of 2,844 entries, the total prize pool soared to 13,082,400 CAD, easily surpassing the original ten-million guarantee. The future champion is set to receive a stunning 1,500,000 CAD reward.
Out of the original gigantic field, only 116 players remain in the hunt for the prestigious ring and million-dollar prize as they return to the tables for Day 4. Leading the pack is local high-stakes player and popular streamer Rayan "Beriuzy" Chamas, closely followed by the stellar Will Givens in second place.
The roster of contenders is studded with big names. Fan favorite Daniel Negreanu is still in the running, albeit from the 109th spot with just 14 big blinds. Also continuing are Michael "Grinder" Mizrachi, Chance Kornuth, Andy Stacks, and this year's WSOP Main Event finalist Rami Hammoud.
