WHO recommends governments ban both gambling ads and sponsorship bans for sports teams
The World Health Organization released a new report in early December addressing the growing trend of gambling addiction. It recommends that governments in countries introduce new laws banning gambling advertisements and that the ban should also apply to sports clubs that are not to be sponsored by gambling companies.
