The EPM €3Million Main Event, with a €590 buy-in, lived up to its reputation as one of Europe’s most popular events. King’s Resort attracted a massive field of 7,303 entries from 2,119 players, easily surpassing the original guarantee of €3 million, with the final prizepool reaching €3,662,454.
This tournament made history as the largest ever in the Euro Poker Million series and the second largest in King’s Resort history, just behind last year’s King’s Million with 7,558 entries.
The final day saw 24 players return, all assured a minimum payout of €8,200. Thanks to the deep structure, where the average stack remained above 60 big blinds for a long time, the final table presented some thrilling confrontations.
Play continued into the early hours, leading the last three players to agree on an ICM deal, with Andre Winkler Arnold securing the largest share. Local players also performed admirably. David Říha finished seventh, while Ondrej Goetz clinched a symbolic bronze, both achieving career-high payouts.
