The $400 NLH 40/40/40 event at the WSOP Circuit stop at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant attracted a total of 449 entries. The prizepool reached $148,170, with the biggest share claimed by winner Daniel Lowery.
In the final heads-up, Lowery defeated fellow American Andrew Chubick to secure his 22nd ring, solidifying his 2nd place in the all-time WSOP Circuit ring leaderboard. Lowery trails only record holder Maurice Hawkins, who boasts 26 rings, while Ari Engel closely follows with 21.
This year, Lowery has claimed his third ring. He triumphed earlier in the year at the $300 Seniors NLH in Tulsa and captured another win in September in the $400 Big O in Council Bluffs. He continues to prove he's a force to be reckoned with in the race for the most successful WSOPC player in history.
