Antoine Vranken Dominates the Battle of the 'Experienced'

The first Dutch victory of this year's series in Barcelona was claimed by the seasoned Antoine Vranken. The tournament, with a 1,100€ buy-in designated for players over 50 years old, attracted an international field of 280 entries, ballooning the prize pool to 268,800€.

Vranken entered the final day in seventh place and, through patient play, fought his way to the final heads-up. There, he defeated Russian player Timur Sattarov, adding his first EPT title and a reward of 55,650€ to his rich poker resume.
