Abreu Dominates the Final Table
Portugal's Jorge Abreu wrapped up Day 5 with an enormous stack of 22,425,000, more than the rest of the field combined. His lead is formidable, with the closest challenger trailing by over 16 million chips. Abreu has been relentless, eliminating several players at the final table. He completed a straight against Joris Ruijs's set on the turn and later knocked out Sami Bechahed with kings against nines.
His aggressive yet controlled play has given him an almost insurmountable lead. Known online as “Jorginho88”, the grinder is on the brink of the biggest live victory of his career.

Another compelling story is that of Felix Schneiders, who enters the final day from the bottom of the leaderboard. Schneiders is best known as a commentator for EPT livestreams and the leader of the GRND on Tour project. This time, he's stepped out of the commentator's booth to make a personal milestone. His journey to the final is being watched by tens of thousands of fans on YouTube and Twitch.
The final day kicks off today at 12:30 local time and can also be viewed on the official livestream on YouTube. The battle for the €1,148,600 prize is intense, and the question is clear: can anyone stop Abreu, or is the Golden Shard trophy already within his grasp?

Alongside the Main Event, the prestigious €10,300 High Roller is reaching its climax. With 352 entries, only 20 players remain after the second day of play.
The winner will take home €668,700 from a total prizepool of €3,379,200. The remaining field is packed with seasoned players. Ali Abdulzahra holds the chiplead, closely followed by six-time EPT champion and 2023 EPT Monte Carlo Main Event winner, Michael Watson. Also in the top ten is 2019 WSOP Main Event and 2015 EPT Prague Main Event winner, Hossein Ensan.
Brandon Wilson is in good form as the current sixth, having already won the €25K NLH in Paris, while Klemens Roiter, currently fourth, could achieve his fourth final table finish at EPT Paris 2026.
