Abreu Takes the Lead in the Main Event
The EPT Paris Main Event with a €5,300 buy-in has entered its final stages. From the initial 1,474 entries, only 49 players remain after the third day, all guaranteed at least €19,800. However, the goal is the final table with six-figure payouts and, above all, the championship title with a €1,148,600 prize.
The highlight of Day 3 belonged to Jorge Abreu from Portugal. In a crucial hand against Cesar Garcia, Abreu held 3 s 3 c and hit quads on the flop 3 h 3 d T h. The turn 2 h provided a flush for Garcia with A h K h, and when Abreu shoved all-in on the river 6 c, Garcia hesitantly called. Abreu secured a massive pot, propelling him to the top of the leaderboard, finishing the day with a stack of 2,250,000 (150 BB).

Just behind him is Pawel Wojciechowski, with France's Hugo De La Fouchardiere in third, who teetered on the edge of elimination but climbed back up with a series of double-ups.
Jessica Teusl is making a significant impact as the last woman standing in the tournament. With a stack of 1,875,000, she's in fourth place, aiming for a historic win as the first female EPT champion in 12 years. You can follow her journey through the official YouTube stream, which also contains recordings of previous days.
