Historic Change for WSOP Europe
The festival starting at the end of March is worth mentioning first. For the first time, WSOP Europe experiences a historic shift in the calendar, taking place from March 31 to April 12 instead of the traditional autumn slot.
The venue has also changed. For the ninth consecutive time, players will head to the Czech Republic, but this time they'll meet in Prague at King's Casino instead of Rozvadov.
The highlight of WSOP Europe will be the Main Event with a guaranteed €10 million prizepool. There will also be a €20K High Roller and a $5K PLO European Championship.

Diverse Europe
In Europe, March means a rich schedule across the continent. One of the main European events is WPT Prime Cyprus, running from late February to March 9, 2026, at the Chamada Prestige Hotel & Spa in Cyprus. The festival offers a total guarantee of $2.5 million, with almost half of that secured by the WPT Prime Cyprus Championship (March 5-9), featuring a minimum $1,000,000 prizepool.
Another popular European festival is the traditional Irish Poker Open, held from March 26 to April 6. One of the oldest festivals in Europe, it returns with a €1,150 Main Event and a €2,500,000 guarantee (March 29 - April 6). Last year, it attracted a record-breaking 4,562 entries, and the Irish hospitality could lead to another record-setting turnout.
In addition to WSOP bracelets, players in Europe can also compete for WSOPC rings. The month begins with the inaugural WSOP Circuit in Liechtenstein (February 26 - March 10), culminating in a Main Event with a million Swiss franc guarantee. It will be followed by the WSOP Circuit at Holland Casino Amsterdam, offering 9 rings (March 13-21), including a Main Event with a €500,000 guaranteed prizepool.
The Norwegian Poker Championship in Banco Casino Bratislava also deserves attention. Held from March 5 to 15, it welcomes hundreds of Norwegian players. The 25th anniversary edition is an attraction for players from other countries and has the potential to break its previous records.

PGT Reigns in Las Vegas
While Europe offers variety, in Las Vegas, PGT undoubtedly takes center stage throughout the month. The prestigious PokerGO Cup is hosted at PokerGO Studio in ARIA Resort & Casino from March 1 to 15. After featuring mixed-game specialists the previous month, the series returns with ten NLH tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $3,100 to $15,100.
From March 20, PLO enthusiasts can delight in the PGT PLO Series at The Venetian Resort, running until March 29. Eight events with buy-ins from $3,100 to $10,100 will draw Pot-Limit Omaha specialists, making it one of the key March tournaments in North America.

Brazilian Poker Grabs the Spotlight
March also marks a significant event in South America aside from North America. Brazilian live poker continues to grow, highlighted by the Brazilian Series Of Poker (BSOP) in São Paulo. From March 18 to 24, 35 events will occur at the Sheraton WTC, headlined by the Main Event with a $4,000 buy-in (March 19-24), the $25K Super High Roller (March 20-21), and the $15K Grand High Roller (March 22-24). The Brazilian series anticipates massive participation from local and international players, numbering in the thousands.
The $1,100 Main Event at the PS Open Philadelphia surpassed a thousand entries in 2025, and this year aims to exceed those numbers. Held from March 16 to 23 at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, the highlight will once again be the Main Event with a $500,000 guarantee.
March is also notable for gold ring hunters, with five festivals to choose from. Each offers up to 18 numbered events, but the WSOP Circuit Kahnawake in Canada (March 23 - April 7) garners attention with a $2.5 million Canadian dollars guaranteed prizepool in the Main Event.
Ring competitions will also take place in American cities such as Hammond (February 23 - March 9), Catoosa (March 4-16), Verona (March 12-23), and Las Vegas (March 19-30).
Asia Dominated by Triton and Wild High Stakes Events
In March, many world stars will align their schedules in Asia, specifically in Jeju, South Korea. The reason is the Triton Poker Series, featuring buy-ins ranging from medium to ultra-high stakes, offering record prizepools. The Triton One festival will first take place at Les A Casino. From March 5 to 15, events like the $3K Genesis, $5K Mystery Bounty, and $8K Main Event (March 10-14) will occur.
Following seamlessly will be the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju (March 14 - April 1). Over 18 days, 20 high roller events will unfold. Buy-ins range from $20,000 to $150,000, with the festival offering two Main Events: the $100K NLH Main Event (March 24-26) and the $100K PLO Main Event (March 29-31).
