Unstoppable Michael Berk

Event #5: $10,100 NLH turned into a stellar ride for Michael Berk, who found virtually no resistance among the 69 entries. Berk claimed his second PGT title, pushing his earnings in the PGT to over one million dollars with a prize of $207,000.

Brock Wilson's Phenomenal Comeback

If the fifth event was about domination, then Event #6: $10,000 NLH was about sheer resilience. Brock Wilson overcame the odds and outlasted a field of 70 entries to claim his second title of the PokerGO Cup series this year. Alongside his $210,000 victory, he catapulted to the top of the event leaderboard.

On the final table, Wilson systematically took down poker titans like Darren Elias and Nicholas Seward. However, he entered the heads-up against Shannon Shorr in a desperate situation, facing a massive 7:1 chip disadvantage.

Wilson turned it around by first doubling up and then forcing Shorr to fold after a daring bluff. In the final stages, Wilson took control, and even though Shorr managed to double up three more times, in the last hand, Wilson sealed his triumph with K c 7 d against T c 3 s.
