TheFestival at Banco Bratislava Gains Momentum, We Meet the Champion of The Hendonmob Championship

The sixth edition of TheFestival is gradually picking up steam. A blend of various formats and tournaments is set for an action-packed Friday, featuring two Main Event flights, an 8-game tournament, PLO 4/5/6, and the finale of the Bratislava Deepstack. Different variants and buy-ins are drawing a plethora of poker enthusiasts to Banco Bratislava.

TheFestival Schedule – Friday, Feb 27, 2026

The Main Event of TheFestival has completed its first three days, gathering 165 entries, with 21 players advancing to the next phase. On Wednesday, flight 1B saw 32 players enter, with four advancing to Day 2. Yesterday was even stronger, with 95 entries paying the €550 buy-in. Twelve players celebrated advancing, keeping their hopes alive for the Main Event title of TheFestival.

The Trophy from The Hendonmob Championship Heads to Greece

Among the staple tournaments of TheFestival is The Hendonmob Championship, which saw players pay the €250 entry fee 330 times. The prizepool swelled to €70,537, and yesterday the largest prizes were distributed. The final featured 33 players, with one emerging as the champion.

In the end, victory went to Greece, as Andreas Paliogiannis took home the top prize of €13,567. Congratulations!
