Angelo Arossi Takes Lead Ahead of Final Battles
The flagship event, the 1,500CHF Main Event, has seen a dramatic Day 2 with 125 players starting the day. The original million-dollar guarantee was surpassed, with a prize pool climbing to 1,071,792CHF thanks to 827 entries. With the day concluded, 24 players remain, each assured at least 5,800CHF, all vying for the top prize of 190,392CHF and the coveted gold ring.
The standout performer of Day 2 was Swiss Angelo Arossi, who was the only player to break the four-million chip mark, heading into the final stages with a massive stack of 4,525,000 (113 BB).
The road to the finale, however, ended for several prominent names. Popular player Vivian Saliba and the day's initial chipleader, Lulei Hu, exited the tournament.
