One of the most anticipated poker tournaments of the year, the €5,300 EPT Main Event Barcelona 2026, is moving into its second phase at the Catalan Casino Barcelona. After two initial starting days, the tournament saw an impressive 1,684 entries, and the prize pool has reached a massive €8,217,750. These numbers aren't final yet, as late registration remains open until the start of the second day of play.

Day 2 will see 535 players continuing their quest, with Ireland's Michael Dwyer leading the pack. Behind him, some renowned names in the poker world are in hot pursuit. We’ll be watching PokerStars ambassador Dario Sammartino and former EPT champions like Sebastian Malec and Slovak legend Jan Bendik still in the hunt for the title.
