Lucas Teixeira turned his $300 buy-in into a victorious payout of $579,752, marking the highest win of his career. Alongside the financial prize and the coveted gold bracelet, he also won an exclusive Super Pass worth $30,000 for the WSOP Paradise winter festival in the Bahamas, which includes a buy-in to the Super Main Event and accommodations at the luxurious Baha Mar resort.
The Brazilian dominance was fully on display at the final table, where the South American nation had three representatives. In the final heads-up, Teixeira faced off against Sri Lanka's Sunaina Bhartia. Although Bhartia managed to turn the tide and put pressure on Teixeira at one point, a crucial hand saw Teixeira hit a set, regaining control.
In the decisive hand, Bhartia went all-in with Q-2, which Teixeira quickly called with A-J, and the board 8-5-8-3-4 sealed a second Brazilian victory within two days.
