Event #6: $10,500 NLH recorded exactly 60 entries, resulting in a prizepool of $600,000. The payouts were set for the top 9 finishers. Just missing out was Brock Wilson (10th place), who recently triumphed in Event #2 of the current PGT Sprint series.
Lichtenberger entered the 6-player final table in 2nd place, but the pace was dictated by Alex Foxen. He successively eliminated Dylan Linde (5th place), Brandon Wilson (4th place), and eventually Jesse Lonis (3rd place).
As a result of these eliminations, Alex Foxen entered the heads-up with a commanding 10:1 lead. However, instead of a quick conclusion, the match turned into a fierce battle full of all-ins and lead changes. Lichtenberger first doubled his stack twice to seize the lead with a 7:1 advantage.
Foxen responded with two double-ups of his own, reclaiming the chiplead. Yet, Lichtenberger successfully navigated the next two all-in situations, regaining a significant advantage. In the final hand, Lichtenberger went all-in with K d 6 s, and Foxen called his remaining chips with A s 7 s. The board K c T c 8 s 7 c 3 h gave Lichtenberger a higher pair, concluding the thrilling duel.
This marks Lichtenberger's third PGT title in 2026, earning him $192,000 along with the trophy.
