The Mini Main Event with a buy-in of €1,000 attracted a total of 702 entries. However, King's Resort had guaranteed €1,000,000 for the players, resulting in a massive overlay as the collected buy-ins fell short of the set amount. This provided players with an extraordinary added value and a six-figure casino supplement to the prizepool.
The final table was filled with drama. Felix Seelentag began as the massive chipleader, while the eventual champion, Daniel-Leon Knuth, started with a modest 21 BB, trailing at the bottom of the standings. But Knuth steadily climbed the ranks, meeting his fellow countryman in a heads-up battle, eventually sending him to 2nd place with a €105,000 prize.
Daniel-Leon Knuth not only secured his first WSOPC ring but also his first major career title. He achieved a new career high, with the €165,000 win more than doubling his previous career earnings.
