The Baby Dragon tournament, with a buy-in of 1,500,000 KRW (~$1,100), sparked immense interest and recorded a total of 564 entries across four initial flights. Thanks to the high turnout, the prize pool soared to 730,944,000 KRW (~$543,748). The best 84 players advanced to the second and final day, where the entire prize pool was distributed among them.
The final table saw players from four different countries. A spectacular comeback was showcased by Chinese player Runbang Shang, who dropped to less than one big blind at the start of the final table. Shang managed to win four consecutive all-ins, climbing back into the game and eventually advancing to the final heads-up.
However, Sootla entered the heads-up with a commanding 6:1 lead, and it was all over in three hands. In the decisive hand, Sootla's hand Q d 6 h was enough against Q h 2 d on a board of 4 h 3 d 8 c 8 s 5 d.
The Estonian followed up on his summer triumph in the Red Dragon Prestige High Roller, securing his second title on the RDPT circuit. While he nabbed the red dragon trophy in the summer, he now added the blue counterpart to his collection.
