Lex Veldhuis Joins GGPoker as Global Streaming Ambassador

Lex Veldhuis is the newest member of GGPoker’s ambassador team. Announced on November 3, the partnership gives the Dutch poker player and Twitch personality the title of Global Streaming Ambassador, joining a roster that includes Daniel Negreanu and Michael Mizrachi.

For Veldhuis, the signing formalizes a relationship that had already developed at the tables. He said he had played exclusively on GGPoker over the past year, crediting its software and tournament fields with renewing his enthusiasm for the grind. Conversations with the company about its plans convinced him to take a more active role.

“It has completely invigorated my enjoyment of poker and grinding again,” Veldhuis said in the announcement. “It made me realize I wanted to be part of this process.”

Community Events and Support for Streamers

The partnership will extend beyond Veldhuis wearing a new patch. Alongside regular streams of his GGPoker sessions, he will host exclusive tournaments and tailored promotions for his community. Specific dates, formats and promotional details have yet to be announced.

Veldhuis will also represent online poker content creators, helping showcase GGPoker’s Streamer Mode and the benefits available to participants in its streaming program. That gives the appointment a broader focus: his role will include supporting the people broadcasting the game as well as entertaining his own audience.

His appeal has long rested on that connection with viewers. Aggressive poker, clear explanations and humor have helped Veldhuis turn lengthy tournament sessions into shared experiences, giving fans a reason to follow both the decisions and the player making them.

Negreanu Welcomes the New Signing

Daniel Negreanu welcomed the announcement, praising Veldhuis’s commitment to poker and his relationship with fans. “His passion for the game, his unmatched work ethic, and his ability to connect with fans are exactly what we look for in a GGTeam ambassador,” Negreanu said.

The next step is bringing the partnership to the screen. Fans can follow Veldhuis’s sessions on his Twitch channel, with further details about community events and joint projects still to come.
