With eight starting flights, the event amassed a total of 7,013 entries. The original guarantee was significantly surpassed, resulting in a prize pool of €6,855,207. Financial rewards were distributed among the top 852 players.

Romanian champion Nik triumphed in the tournament almost from start to finish, holding the chiplead after the starting flights and before Days 3 and 4. On the final table, he showcased his extensive experience, maintaining his lead for most of the time.

When the field narrowed to the final four, the players agreed to a 4-way ICM deal, with the largest share going to Bulgarian Lyubomir. However, in the play-off for the trophy and remaining money, it was Nik who excelled.

Vincent had a flush draw with Q c 4 c, but Nik showed a higher flush draw with K c T c. The turn T s paired Nik, and the river K s confirmed his title and claim to the royal crown.
