Massive 7,013 Entries in the Super Main Event
The highlight of the championship is the €1,150 EPC Super Main Event, which recorded a remarkable 7,013 entries across eight starting flights. The prizepool soared to €6,855,207, with €862,300 and the prestigious King's Royal Scepter trophy reserved for the overall winner.
The third day welcomed 108 of the best players, and after ten grueling levels, the field narrowed to the final 16. Securing the chipleader position was a Romanian known as Nik, who dominated after Day 1a and Day 2 and also snagged 7th place in the €1,000 Mystery Bounty event earlier in the week.

An intriguing story unfolded on Day 3 with Ulrich Ehlermann and his wife, playing under the alias Pokerhonta696. They shared the same table for a time before Pokerhonta696 exited in 35th place, while Ulrich advanced to the final day.
A remarkable comeback was showcased by Austrian Hassibullah Hafizi, who found himself with less than one big blind towards the end of Day 3, yet through a series of double-ups, he climbed to seventh place.

Andre Winkler Continues His Banner Year
Alongside the Super Main Event, the prestigious €2,000 EPC Masters took place, gathering 346 entries and creating a prizepool of €602,040. The final day saw 69 players advance, with cash prizes reserved for the top 52, starting the day with a battle for paid spots.
The tournament was ultimately captured by German Andre Winkler Arnold, marking 2026 as his best career year. In May, he claimed his first WSOPC ring in Venlo and dominated the enormous Euro Poker Million Main Event in Rozvadov in July for €421,700.
Now, he adds the second most prestigious victory of his career at Kings Resort, showcasing remarkable patience and turning the tables on Italian Marco Giordano during a heads-up deal.
Giordano, as the chipleader before heads-up, secured the largest payout of €118,400, but the King's Royal Scepter trophy went to Winkler.
