Mike Leah Nearly Doubles His Collection
Canadian poker veteran Mike Leah has once again etched his name in the history books. In the WSOP Online Event #5: C$600 Ultra Stack NLH on the GGPoker Ontario platform, Leah outlasted the field of 535 entries to secure his third WSOP bracelet, taking home C$47,482 from a prizepool of C$304,950.
Right after, he was tantalizingly close to grabbing a second bracelet in a single day, making it to the final table of the C$400 PLOSSUS tournament. However, in a massive pot containing 70% of all chips, he fell victim to an unlucky river against Alex Di Felice, finishing fifth with a reward of C$16,189. He promptly updated his profile on X with the words: "Father of 2, WSOP bracelets 3 – really want to increase one of these numbers."
