Wild Final Day Ends in Victory for Kiat Lee
The seventh event of the festival, with a $40,000 buy-in, attracted 133 entries. The total prize pool soared to $5,320,000, with half allocated for placement payouts ($2,660,000) and the other half forming the Mystery Bounties fund.
The tournament's defining moment came before the final table was formed, courtesy of Wai Kiat Lee. In an incredible 4-way all-in, Lee found himself holding A c A s against Seth Davies’ K c 9 s, Samuel Mullur’s K h 9 h, and the legendary Phil Ivey’s A d 9 d. After the board 7 c 8 s 7 h Q s 2 s, Lee secured a massive pot, three bounty envelopes, and jumped to the chipleader position.
Having been on the brink of elimination at the bubble, Kiat Lee entered the final table with triple the chips of the second place. However, the dynamics shifted as he lost several pots. Alex Anton and later Jamil Wakil took the lead, with Wakil eliminating Punsri and Anton in a triple all-in, entering heads-up with almost a 5:1 lead.

Kiat Lee, however, doubled his stack early in the duel and gradually closed in on Wakil. Leadership swapped hands several times before the Malaysian player took the final victory. Wai Kiat Lee claimed his second Triton title of 2026, pocketing $619,000 for the win and at least $320,000 from the eight Mystery Bounty envelopes he secured.

The eighth event of the South Korean festival is the prestigious $50K NLH 8-Handed tournament. It attracted a total of 129 entries, driving the prize pool up to $6,450,000. Financial rewards are set for the top 20 players, with the champion earning $1,548,000.
Following the first day, the field was narrowed down to 32 contenders. Moroccan Mehdi Chaoui led the pack as the chipleader.
Proving his incredible form, fresh winner Wai Kiat Lee jumped into the tournament immediately after his triumph, securing an impressive 3rd place after Day 1.
Just behind him in fourth is the legendary Phil Ivey, with Kayhan Mokri, Alex Boika, and Alejandro Lococo also featuring in the top 10.
