The British phenomenon Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser once again showcased why he's considered the uncrowned king of mixed games. This time, Glaser bested the competition in the challenging WCOOP 44-H: $1,050 8-Game event.
The tournament attracted a total of 56 entries, competing for a share of a $56,000 prizepool. In the final heads-up, Glaser defeated Finland's Markus “O.Klunssila” Ristola, earning $21,400 for first place.
For Glaser, this marks his 17th career WCOOP title. It also brings his total COOP series (WCOOP/SCOOP) titles to 29, ranking him second among the most successful players in the history of these tournaments.
Only his compatriot Patrick “pads1161” Leonard is ahead, having recently secured his 14th WCOOP victory and 16 SCOOP titles.
Johannes “Jepser8” Straver's Fantastic Double
Dutch professional Johannes “Jepser8” Straver is experiencing a dream run, capturing his first two prestigious WCOOP titles.
Straver first triumphed in the WCOOP 15-H: $10,300 Super Tuesday High Roller event, where he emerged victorious among 23 entries, securing $106,622.
A week later, he continued his success in the WCOOP 49-H: $5,200 Super Tuesday High Roller. The tournament saw 48 entries and a total prizepool of $335,000. In the final heads-up, Straver defeated Canada's Guillaume “Nolet20” Nolet, collecting a reward of $90,420.
Unstoppable Jamie “jamiedwan21” Dwan
The young British star Jamie “jamiedwan21” Dwan is having an extraordinary year. This summer in Las Vegas, he secured his first WSOP gold bracelet along with a prize of nearly $2.3 million, and recently achieved six final table appearances at EPT Barcelona, including two titles.
Now, Dwan has impressed at WCOOP, dominating the demanding WCOOP 43-H: $2,100 Bounty Builder HR (PKO). For his victory, he claimed a total reward of $57,170 ($21,733 from the main prize pool + $35,438 in bounties). This marks Dwan’s second career WCOOP title.
FAl1st Secures 12th WCOOP Title
The renowned online specialist known as FAl1st once again confirmed his dominance in rapid and niche formats.
FAl1st emerged victorious in the WCOOP 52-M: $55 NLO8 Hyper Turbo Mystery Bounty event. The tournament drew a total of 324 entries, yet FAl1st navigated through the field without a hitch, earning a prize of $2,047.
This is the player’s 12th career WCOOP title, with an impressive 13 SCOOP titles also to his name.
