Daniel Negreanu wraps up the WSOP summer just as he lived it: with coffee, humor, fans, a Player of the Year ambition, and one more tournament attempt. The morning starts with one of the most charming fan gifts of the series. Daniel receives a tiny outfit for his future son, complete with a Masters patch.

Before heading to the casino, Daniel gives credit to the people who keep the series running. The Last Drive to the Casino

The drive to Horseshoe holds symbolic weight. Daniel says it's the last “driving video” of the summer, and the next vlogs will be from Paradise. Today's event is a $1K Super Turbo Bounty with 20-minute levels. It started at 10:00 AM, but Daniel plans to join after the first break, around 12:20 PM. In a super turbo, that's not ideal, but he'll still have five levels on the first bullet and enough room to spin up his stack.

It's interesting how seriously he takes it. Even though it's the last lower buy-in event of the series, Daniel says he really wants to win it. He plans to use the first bullet efficiently and play hard on the second, like it's his last. In lower buy-ins, he sees many exploits that he believes he could take advantage of with today's knowledge, should he need to return to his younger years and grind smaller tournaments.

The tournament starts slowly. After a few levels, Daniel has played almost just one hand, when he jammed A-T suited from the big blind against a button open raise, and luckily Chino didn’t find a call with 7-2 offsuit. The stack stays around the starting point, but in a super turbo, things change quickly. Then comes the first crucial double up.

The super turbo reveals its chaotic nature. One player goes all-in, the small blind seems not to notice and says “call,” which, according to Daniel, obligates him to call. He ends up in the hand with K-2 offsuit against tens, hits runner-runner diamonds, and wins a hand he never wanted to play. Daniel comments simply: sometimes you do the wrong thing, and it still works out. But the takeaway is clear – pay attention.

Fans, Promotions, and the Last Walk Through WSOP

After a break, the vlog moves to the WSOP halls. Daniel meets a fan who brought him the children's book “Rumble in the Jungle.” She says her kids still know it almost by heart, and it fits the animal theme Daniel and Amanda are exploring. Daniel has about 126,000, the average is 117,000, and a few dozen players remain until the money. However, he doesn't plan just to sneak into the min-cash. He says he will play his game and not back down unnecessarily. Then comes one of the best table scenes of the day with Justin, a player who loses most of his stack just before the bubble.

Justin survives the big blind, makes it into the money, and then starts multiplying his stack. Justin's spin-up continues, and in one hand, he goes into a big all-in precisely against him. Daniel needs an ace or a club, but the card doesn’t come. Justin, who almost busted earlier, takes most of his chips, leaving Daniel with just about 1.5 BB. Then comes the last hand. Daniel exits the last WSOP event of the summer. Not with a title, nor a big final table, but with the 15th cash of the series. And in this context, it still means a lot.

End of Summer and Another Chapter in Paradise

After busting out, Daniel heads to the cash desk to settle payouts via transfer. He jokes he’s not carrying cash home, so no one has to follow and try to rob him. Then he moves into the final big reflection. He thanks editors Donk and Rita once again, the people around the vlog, and the entire team. He meets with a masseuse he's been crossing paths with all month, takes a picture with a dealer, and closes the summer with the line, mentioning viewers will see him next on the beach in the Bahamas.
